Louis Powell began his agency career in 1987 and enjoyed a career progression to become the youngest Managing Director of a 24 branch network of offices for the largest estate agency chain in the UK.
Keen to develop a more bespoke and discerning personal service, Charles Powell is his opportunity to provide a template for the modern boutique Estate Agency.
An ardent Saints fan, Louis lives with his wife Samantha and son Joe in the New Forest.
Paul Mason's career in estate agency began 17 years ago and his detailed local knowledge has assisted in establishing his credentials as one of the key members of the Charles Powell organisation. He has a well regarded reputation for considerate customer care.
Paul resides in Downton with his wife Jenny and their three children.
Simon began his estate agency career in 1987 and he has specialised in successfully selling a wide range of Southampton's finest properties. His depth of knowledge is second to none and his sales expertise, coupled with a passion for providing the best level of service to his clients has resulted in a high level of repeat business and recommendations.
Simon lives in West Totton with his wife Lynn and they have three adult daughters.
Samantha Powell has worked in Estate Agency management and marketing for 30 years. Office based, her role is to facilitate the smooth running of the operation, ensuring the Charles Powell experience is a pleasant and effective one for all clients. Sam is the catalyst of all the office activity ensuring every client is contacted on a regular basis.
Gwen van Zyl
Gwen is our extremely patient, empathetic and methodical customer liaison who oversees the smooth progression of all the Charles Powell sales. With a very responsible position, she manages to regularly update all clients of events throughout the process.
Having enjoyed experience in the international property market, Gwen returned to the UK in 2014 and currently resides in Wellow. She is an active member of the Romsey Rotary Club and keeps the rest of the team in order!
Karen has worked in business management for over 27 years and assists with the innovative promotion of our properties, maximising marketing avenues and providing useful regular updates.
Orignally from New Zealand, Karen resides in Chilworth with her husband and two children.
Emma enhances the fluidity of the operation, creating and tailoring the individual marketing campaigns for each Charles Powell home.
She insists on excellent levels of presentation, communication and controls all aspects of promotion with such ease.
Emma has been with Charles Powell since its form, since its earliest days and lives in Romsey with her husband Matthew.
We are fortunate to acquire Andrea's considerable sales experience and skillful marketing. She has a wonderful ability to match clients to the right property by carefully ascertaining clients needs, a talent which is becoming more uncommon in estate agency.
Andrea lives with her husband Mike residing in the oldest residential property in Romsey having restored it from a ruin into the splendid home it is now.
Kerry is the latest addition to the Charles Powell family having enjoyed a previous career in the industry with a large corporate chain involved in selling a wide range of properties across Southampton. Her calm and reassuring persona has proved particularly pleasing to our clients who thoroughly enjoy liaising with her.
Kerry lives in a home designed and constructed by her and her husband Richard, along with their two children, Lewis and Max.
To accommodate our rapidly growing team, we set up our regional property showroom in 2013 renovated to a stylish design by Parent interiors. Open to the public with generous available parking, our clients are able to visit and experience a comfortable arrangement to register their details, view our extensive property portfolios and meet our experienced team of people.
