Paul Mason's career in estate agency began 17 years ago and his detailed local knowledge has assisted in establishing his credentials as one of the key members of the Charles Powell organisation. He has a well regarded reputation for considerate customer care.
Paul resides in Downton with his wife Jenny and their three children.
To Gwen and Paul, thank you so much for all your fantastic help selling our house and managing our move. The attention to detail and service you provide has been excellent. Gwen thank you for being so helpful and keeping us informed and up to date. You do really stand out from our competitors.
Huge thank you to Louis, Paul, Gwen and the wonderful team at Charles Powell. Well what a long road!! But so worth it in the end as we absolutely love our new home. Thank you for always being cheerful, helpful and positive and for never giving up on us!! We are truly grateful for all your help and skill in finally securing it all for us. You will be highly recommended!
Dear Steve and Gwen, as the two main contacts for my house sale, I would like to say a huge thank you to you both. You have handled this process in an efficient, professional and honest way and I am very grateful for that. You've kept me informed with clear details and honesty of the various stages and issues related to the sale. It has been a pleasure to have you handling the sale of my house. With my best wishes to you both.
Your professional service has been exemplary. As novice movers/sellers we expected goodness knows what! You enabled us to feel well looked after and our interests were being considered. You did what you said you would do and when; most appreciated. We will advise friends to use Charles Powell. Bless you all.
I wanted to write to formally thank the Charles Powell team, particularly Simon and Gwen, for their tireless support and help in the sale of our former property. Simon – so obviously passionate about his job and his position within Charles Powell. From first meeting him at valuation, through to marketing and viewings, Simon instilled confidence in his ability and knowledge, ensuring we knew we were in safe hands. Securing a sale on day 6 was some achievement and knowing that we had yet to find somewhere ourselves, he spent time and energy in trying to find an end to end solution for us. Gwen – as we progressed through with our sale, we were delighted to be dealing with such a pragmatic and service driven individual. Often hearing the brunt of my frustration with other parties, she remained a calming and soothing influence and always incredibly professional. Having dealt with her equivalents in other agencies – I can confirm she is a star and such an asset to you. Simon and Gwen make a dream team and I cannot commend them highly enough.
We sincerely thank all of you: Simon, Louis, Gwen and the whole team for all your support and help during the process of finding the right house, buying it and selling ours. Despite some unpredictable issues in the process you all did a brilliant job. Thanks for everything and look forward to seeing you soon.
I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you, once again, for the highly professional service we received from you and your team in selling the property in Woodley. Highly effective at keeping the sale moving, brilliant communication, friendly staff........Highly recommended.
A huge thank you for helping us with our purchase. They say buying a house is one of the most stressful life experiences but you have made it enjoyable! Top notch communication throughout and we will whole heartedly recommend you! Looking forward to our next chapter!
Thank you so much to yourself, Gwen and your team for all your hard work. You can definitely tell the difference between Charles Powell and other agents, you are in a completely different league to the others which has been a pleasure to experience and I'm really pleased we picked you. So thank you! I have been particularly grateful with your honesty, you set realistic expectations and have a customer focused approach. When anyone talks to me about house moves these days I always tell them they must use Charles Powell.
Now that the ink is dry on our exchanged contracts and we’re nearing completion, I just wanted to put in writing what an excellent service we have had from Charles Powell Estate Agents. Although all your staff have been very helpful at all times, it has been Paul, our main point of contact, who has been exceptional. With our very specific requirements, selling our cottage only if we managed to secure the purchase of one particular Suffolk house, he has been superb, reacting quickly to get our house on the market and presenting it in the best possible light. We are simply left feeling that without his proactive approach and ability to anticipate issues well before they became problems, the sale/purchase would never have happened. He has been a pleasure to deal with, and because of his communication and bargaining skills we have always known where we stood. He even negotiated an excellent price on our house in Suffolk - well beyond the call of duty - and we are extremely grateful. Indeed the estate agent in Suffolk who was dealing with that sale, phoned us especially to compliment Paul in the way he has driven this chain of buyers/sellers and suggested that it wouldn’t have gone through without his fantastic efforts.
Please pass on our sincerest thanks to your staff, and in particular Paul, who have all supported us these last few months. We have recommended Charles Powell Estate Agents to many friends. Wishing you all the very best in your continuing efforts.
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Charles Powell you have done a fantastic job in securing the sale of our property. Within days of putting our property back on the market you very quickly established a second cash buyer!! Although it has been quite stressful at times, we must congratulate you on having Gwen, she kept us sane with her constant updates and help. Always positive. Every estate agency should have a “Gwen” to fix things! Thanks yet again for a job well done.
Dear Louis, You'll know now that a couple of weeks ago we finally completed our move and we are now getting settled and starting to make it a wonderful family home I know it can be. Although I have already mentioned it briefly I wanted to write to you personally to thank your team for all their huge support and hard work, and in particular Gwen, who was nothing less than amazing. She was always helpful, knowledgeable, generous with her time, constructive with her comments and reassuring when it was needed. Unfortunately very little of this I received from my own Estate Agent and I can't help but think she did their job too. I'm certain you already know how good Gwen is and what difference her job makes during this process. In fact, so good was she at keeping me up to date, informing of progress and so knowledgeable that I actually forgot she wasn't actually my estate agent! I doubt moving and selling is ever straightforward and I think I underestimated how difficult and stressful it really was. However, I am absolutely certain that had it not been for Gwen’s great support the whole process would have been even more difficult and I wonder if we would have moved when we did. For this I have already personally thanked Gwen, but I felt it important that you also heard it from me. As a business owner myself, I know the importance of feedback, and how rewarding it is to receive a positive one! Should you ever want me to write a reference or pass on any of my thoughts further, then please do not hesitate to contact me, as I would be happy to do so.
I completed on my sale with yourselves a couple of weeks back and wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for your assistance with my sale. We had the house listed for nine months in 2016 with a competing agent and had not received a single offer. I wasn't expecting a hugely different experience with a new agent but felt it was time for a change. However, I am happy to say the general level of professionalism and communication I experienced across your whole team during the course of the house being on the market was a level above my previous experience, as was the overall quality of the marketing materials and resultantly the foot fall. I'd like to call out Paul and Gwen specifically for their assistance during the process, although the heartfelt conversation with Louis when our original offer fell through was also appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend you to others or to use you again myself in the (hopefully reasonably distant) future.
